The Franco-American Trio That Sets Roads and Hearts Ablaze

Mazingo are a Franco-American trio whose music draws on blues, rock and American folk, with a distinctive identity shaped by life on the road and onstage. Formed in 2020, the band quickly established itself as a strong and cohesive project, recognised for its authenticity, live energy and accomplished songwriting.

Led by Andrew Mazingue on vocals and double bass, alongside Alexis Réoutsky on guitars and harmonica and Félix Bourgeois on drums and percussion, Mazingo have developed a warm, organic sound in which American roots meet European sensibility. Their musical world evokes both the wide-open landscapes of the southern United States and the raw intensity of Europe’s independent music scene.

Following their acclaimed debut EP, 3 Dollar Show, and the album Soleil Noir (2022), the band went on to perform more than 150 shows in France and abroad, building a reputation for generous, crowd-rousing live performances. In 2024, the album Hey You marked a new artistic milestone, showcasing a broader sound designed to capture the power of the band’s live performances.

Winners of the France Blues Challenge, Mazingo represented France at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 2025, further establishing their reputation on the international blues and roots scene.

A new album is scheduled for late 2026, featuring more confident songwriting and renewed artistic ambition while remaining true to the foundations of the band’s identity: sincerity, intensity and a direct connection with the audience.
