On Southern Blues Night  March 22nd in PLT Theater Kaz Hawkins was the opening act in the main hall. And what an opener it was. From the first song Kaz wound the audience around her fingers. Starting songs quietly - almost in a whisper - building it up to a climax with band rocking and Kaz belting out. Followed by another completely different song and Kaz sharing her emotional stories with the audience. The room was packed, no seats available and people standing at the back of the room with others waiting to get in. And the good news is that Kaz will be back in September and November '25. Stay tuned!
